I'll be headin' west this august. Not too far west really, only a couple hours.
I recently found out I got into the American Craft Council Show in San Francisco. I'm excited, a little nervous too. I have basically drained my art business account to pay for this show. Trying to not freak out about that. Just money...right.....
First off I've got to tidy up this studio. Amazing how messy things can get when you are creating, plus my husband keeps putting "stuff" in here that doesn't have a home.
I've also been reading up on Feng Shui. I'm learning not to block the flow of chi - with clutter and objects (the "stuff" my husband keeps putting in my studio) - from flowing into my space.
I tell you, it really makes a difference. When I try to plow through and create when everything is a mess I feel like I am moving through mud.
Off I go...

Terry this is wonderful. I am so happy for you. I'd love to know more about what you had to do to enter this show, which I had not known about before I read it here. I certainly will make a point of going to it! Will you be there with your work? Is it for a weekend or a longer time? I need to look it up.
Glad for you. Good luck I bet you sell all you take there.
Lynn, you are so kind.
The show is at Fort Mason August 13, 14, and 15. I can send you a post card, plus I was given some free tickets. I will send you one. (If anyone else want a free pass let me know I have 9 of them.)
The deadline to apply for next years show is July 25th
Terry
I'm sure the show will be worth whatever it is you spend. Good luck with it all!
I use feng shui principles in my home too and it really does work - you can feel the good energy flowing around. Your hub need his own 'room' to put his 'stuff' in :)
