The sweet goat with the long floppy ears
Loved to prance by the light of the moon.
Each round moon that brought a new season
Had Murphy dancing to an ancient goat tune.
This piece was inspired by a real goat that I read about, that likes to dance at night when his people are tucked into bed. Apparently he entertains the other goats with his ancient rhythmic moves.
I was so amused by this cute goat that I just had to capture his story in my art for an upcoming children's art show at the Davis Art Center in August 2008.
